Two Oceans 21 km Update: Week 16 February

My training is still on track and I’m feeling stronger after every run. 

No longer do I feel like death warmed over at the end of a work out or run, so obviously my fitness is coming along.

I have been experiencing real benefits from my fitness regime.  My mood is a lot more positive than it’s been for a while and I look and feel a lot healthier.

I workout nearly every day – either running or doing fitness training on alternate days.  It seems to make a huge difference from when I only used to run (a few years ago).

Shape magazine has great workouts, some of which you can download from their website. I kept quite a few from when I subscribed to their magazine.

This week I will start walking from work – about 30 minutes- to make use of the ever waning day light hours. Arggghhhhh winter is coming!

By the way, my goal for my first Two Ocean’s 21km is to finish within the three hours allowed to complete the race.
