The US Department of Social Security Administration named the Top baby names for 2008.
According to Yahoo.com the top girl name was Emma.
Emma apparently entered the top 10 list in 2002 when Rachel and Ross of Friends named their daughter Emma.
Jacob topped the top boy names list for the 10th year in a row.
