Nando’s Advert Offends Again
Nando’s once again had a complaint made against them to the Advertising Standards Authority (ASA) for an offending advert.
This one was a once off print ad promoting “good karma” while encouraging consumers to “try our new Good Karma meal — get enlightened!” and “To celebrate the visit of the Dalai Lama, get a quarter chicken” - playing on the Dalai Lama’s cancelled visit.
The complainant a Mr Muller claims that the advert was offensive and used religion and spirituality to sell chicken.
Holy cow, it’s not only politicians in this country wanting to be politically correct.
Anyway, no harm done to Nando’s since the Dalai Lama visit is old news and Nando’s doesn’t do old news.
