Seems like no one wants the Merc given to the Transport Minister S’bu Ndedele.
It is still in his possession according to the Witness.
The consortium who gifted the car worth R1.14million is now considering what to do with it.
Apparently the Merc was funded by individuals personally and not their companies.
Some of these individuals want their money back while others are planning to sell the car and use the proceeds to benefit other potential entrepreneurs. Or so they say.
As one of the construction company directors said: “When we decided to buy the gift it took us months of planning and so this is going to be the same.”
