The Weekend’s Cricket World T20 Games
The Aussies and England lost their games in the World T20 over the weekend – oh happy weekend!
The Netherlands (of all teams) defeated England in their home opening match! And they did so without breaking too much of a sweat. Unfortunately Pakistan couldn’t do the same thing on Sunday.
Oh well, it doesnt’ make for an exciting tournament when the hosts don’t make it to the next round.
Australia were annihilated by the West Indies. What’s with the Windies blowing either steaming hot or ice cold???
Any Aussie loss is very welcome though.
India beat Bangladesh and New Zealand won – blah blah blah!
The best part of the weekend’s T20 games was the Proteas showing their intentions. We’ve of course been here before where the SA team have looked pretty much invisible – until they eventually find ways to get beaten,
Hopefully like with Roger Federer, this will be the year our team gets the trophy.
The way they beat the Scottish was pretty phenomenal – and they did it without looking like they were even trying!
The Proteas next game is on Tuesday at 6.30pm.
