Michael Owen Signs with Man United
As a Liverpool and former Michael Owen fan, I cant say Im unhappy with his move to Manchester United.
If thats all they’ve got to replace Cristiano Ronaldo and Carlos Tevez, then we non-United fans have nothing to fear.
But its not as if the big names are banging on United’s door.
On the contrary, every half decent footballer already offered themselves to Real Madrid.
Anyway, years ago at Liverpool Owen never got the respect other strikers like Ian Rush or Robbie Fowler got.
Though it still will be strange to see a former Liverpool player in a Man United jersey.
But if given the choice between Owen and Torres…
Okay that is just outrageous. There isnt even a comparison.
