9 Year Old Brazilian Girl’s Abortion upsets Catholic Church
As if a 9 year old girl in Brazil getting raped by her step-father isn’t upsetting enough, the Catholic Church in Brazil as well as the Vatican itself are up in arms because the girl’s parents allowed the pregnancy to be aborted!
This poor child was carrying twins! Not unlike the story of a 10 year old on the Cape Flats who gave birth to her 21 year old uncle’s child!
The Vatican has now ex-communicated the girls parents for allowing the abortion to take place, but the girl was spared due to her being under the age of 18.
Isn’t that just sick????
The merits of abortion notwithstanding, how can a 9 year old child’s body carry twins?
Who’s life is more important?
And anyway how can the Catholic Church be so rigid and not take into account the life of a 9 year old girl who is already been harmed by her stepfather?
Fortunately Catholics in Brazil are infuriated with the church’s position and support the girl and her family’s position.
Is it any wonder that the once nearly 100% Catholic population in Brazil is now dwindling to a mere 74% who will admit their loyalty to the Catholic Church?
