President Zuma’s Tollfree Number
President Zuma’s long promised tollfree number will by all accounts be up and running tomorrow.
If you wish to shoot the breeze with the president’s people the tollfree number is 17737.
Apparently 43 people from various government departments have been tasked to follow up on our queries.
I somehow think they will need a few more hands on deck.
Anyway, its a start.
The presidency’s intention of listening to the people is a good one.
Hopefully they will not only listen, but perform too.

i would like to complain about suncity prison and it is about thei kitchen where they cook food for prisoners. the kitchen is so unhealthy its like dogs are staying there. i know that those people have to be purnished but not in that way. i think we have to do something as the govenment and the community, we have to help one another. i would like to see where they sleep and maybe we can do something as a govenment and the community as i have explained. they are also human beings and we must try and help them because some of them dont go there because they want but it is because of their background and we must also teach them life skills on how to avoid bad things when they come out and how must they create things for themselves in order to make a living but not by stealing or by kiling. we really need to help them and pray for them. they made mistakes like everyone else. my contact number is 079 232 7251 and my work telephone number is 011 614 0500 ext 209.

Siluma View in Katlehong,Sir i have a situation here everytime it rains we have a sewerage blockage and i dont understand how the storm water get mixed with the sewerage system and start pushing and making some bubble noise from the drain out side my doorstep.to cut long story short,If i had my electricity supply cut for not paying i would undersand because it is my direct personal use,if i had water supply cut for not paying i would also understand.The point is i phoned EKURHULENI @ this number 0860 543 000 Ref # SR115470 this is just one of the Ref, numbers they always give when you complain i am told to pay my rates and that this matter has been handed over to their PLUMER to attend but when i asked for the Plumer’s Tel. so that i can speak to them direct, NO we’re not allowed to give the Plumer Tel.number.WHAT KIND OF SERVICE IS THIS?

You can contact Lesiba Seakamela at this number 0796960449 who works directly with the Councilor; he knows very well that this matter was mentioned to them since 2007 and before. I have given photos of that area to Lesiba so that the Councilor should write a motivation to the office of the mayor so that the matter of Apollo Light and unutilized area which have turned to be a dumping grassland should be solved.
Presently we are facing a new era of Garbage bins that are not collected and nobody says anything or informing us about the problems that the municipality of Soshanguve is facing.

1. Because of the darkness, residents are victims of criminal activities.

RE: EXTREME DANGER FOR PEDESTRIANS- AT THE CORNER OF BURNETT AND HILDA STREETS- (ON THE LEFT HAND PAVEMENT).
I want to bring it to your attention that there is a very dangerous situation at the left hand corner of Burnett- and Hilda Street.
.
Motorists use the above mentioned pavement as parking space, thus blocking the pavement for pedestrians.
Pedestrians are forced to use Burnett Street’s left hand lane as a walk way.
This situation has been ongoing for at least a year. I experienced the same dangerous situation in January 2009, when I visited the Protea Bookshop to buy my academic books.
Today, I witnessed the narrow escape of a young female, as she was nearly hit by a fast moving taxi. Then and there, I decided something should be done to avoid a tragedy.
Suggestion: It may be possible to place concrete blocks (or something suitable) on the pavement to block cars from using it as a parking space.
I trust that you share my concern for the safety, of especially our students.
Please bring my e-mail under the attention of the person/persons that can be trusted to do something about this dangerous situation.

I’m in Mthatha in the a place called Marhambeni Location, situated between Mandela Park & Ultra City in the Eastern Cape under councilor Sizwe Njemla which is Ward 14
Mr Prsident, we need your help in this place regarding electricity & streets. If you don’t mind you can visit us so that you can see what am I talking about.
As residents, we stand for ouselves to get electricity because we asked for our councelor to help us regarding the matter, unfortunately for us nothing comes up.We went all stages that could help us but we came back with empty hands.
Eskom & our Local Municiality which is K.S.D. knows about this matter as we went to their offices several times regarding this issue.To us now it seems like they are playing hide & seen while we are suffering on the other side.
We trust that our request falls into good hands now. Waiting to here your response very soon as we know that 2010 is full of good & exciting things.

We are rural family living in Ncera villages , Village Number -3 , Kidds Beach , East London Jurisdiction area. We are being victimised by Eskom since 2004 until March 2010. We are forced on a particular service type ( Conventional Type )of electricity that is far more expensive for rural people.We want to be converted to Pre – Paid meter type. We want to:
- avoid network charge ( R274.04 )
- avoid estimated readings on our consumption.
- buy electricity as we need it.
This oppression by Eskom has now been going on for many years. We now have enough. We cannot allow it to continue any more.

President i know this will not reach u but want to take out frustation and keep myself sane and hopeful as well as to avoid being suicidal. Why is it so much frustration looking for employment in SA when you have all the qualifications needed i.e degree, diplomas and persuing MBA as well as experience both in govt and private sector. I have come to a stage when looking at the careers section i just get sick(running stomach) and be hopeless.I was counting applications that i have submitted since December 2009 on govt positions and got to 67. Not even 1 department has at least aknowledged receipt let alone invited for an interview. One of the reasons i know for a fact, positions in govt when advertised already have people that are gioing to fill them, or applications are just destroyed, or you have to bribe or have connections to get one. This is really frustrating in South Africa. I have no jb at present and pray everyday that doesn’t come to a stage where banks will reposses the little i have worked for for my kids. Maybe its time one goes and look overseas.

am not happy at all, last year on december the third i applied for unabridged birth certificate for my little boy born the 16th april 2009 at east london branch home affairs, paid application and was told to fetch it by March of which i did.to my suprise i didnt get it and was told to reapply because head office pretoria didnt get the forms, i did.havent been resting up until today the certificate cant be release call centre and neither the branch cant help.i find hard to understand why this torture .

this is really getting to my nerves. Is there a way of getting a response from Eskom & Joburg connect?
I have been sending emails & there is no response.
Our house always has electricity 4days in a week. We just moved to this house & the electricity is just not on. It is winter. We have to bath, eat & be warm.
Everytime electricity trips, we are the only house in our block not getting electricity when it returns. Could anyone look into this matter please. I want to be living from what i am paying for. Not to pay for electricity that i dont use. We buy food, they get spoilt in the fridge. Our electrical appliances are messed up, yet we always use electricity for only 45% of the time we are home.

We as Contract workers of the Eastern Cape Department of Health would like to ask our President to intervene in our problem. We’ve been to the MEC’s office, SG’s office and many more office with out any help. Our contracts started in 2007 others in 2008(it was re-newed every time). Our problem is the new SG told us that he doesn’t want the contract workers with in the dept. We were promised the absorption, our contract is end this month and they told us that they will not renew it and they’ll not give us absorption. Other Dept like Education and Socail development are taking their contract workers why not us.

My name is M Hlatshwayo,I am currently working for eskom as a contractor.Mr President the bad news is we were told that any one who like’s to work in this Department he/she must apply for the post is what we did,but now our Manager told us eskom has change its tune they only want worker’s with a qualification or a B.tech in this Department..
What they are saying is that we must have a B.tech or N3 QUALIFICATION coming from un health background with Brother’s and sister with out a Father or even a mother.The minimum qualification i have is N2 WITH MATHS,SCIENCE,ENGINEERING Drawing,Industrial communication so that i can Futher my Education.I am a Father with Three children and Sister’s and Brothe’s.So i was making an appel Mr President please help in this case Because Hunger will stike after the end of this contract.Mr President i don’t like hand outs,but like Education.Thank you Mr President

To our dear president: I would like to know what are they going to do about the water problem in Beauford West (WEstern Cape), i mean those people have no water to drink they are suffering, and i haven’t heard anything on the news, and i don’t hear anything about helping the people. Really i mean you guys CAN do something, get water from Cape Town, Durban where ever, but you just let the people suffer.
I really hope this reach you soonest as this is a very very urgent matter, things can’t go on like this, you are suppose to help the people Zuma. PLease do something about this, i believe the reason why this problem occured is because of negligence. Because if they did something before hand than it would not have gone sofar.

dear president i am living in wasbank and need to know why has our town been neglected with no help from any one in your dept there is no developement of any kind taking place how can the youth keep busy we are told the rural areas will be seen to there is so much that could be done if we had the resources the businesses cannot develop any jobs as there is no proper transport to bring people into the town and there is better transport to dundee and ladysmith our people have to go and get jobs out of town which means they have to pay for board and loging and transport you ask the banks for help we are told it is zoned a high risk area our rates and lights are much more then some bigger towns how do we create jobs and help to improve the lives of our people in our small town when we the business people are suffering and not receiving any help of any kind there is a lot of potential in wasbank but it cannot be done if we are being forgotten with no help of any kind from your depts there are mines that could be reopened to create jobs there is a lot that could be done to improve the lives of our people and our town please mr president do help this town to develope and be known to the outside world so that when we talk to people we are not asked where is wasbank ?…

The white people are still killing blacks in this country and the police are not attending to these cases, Im saying that because my brother was killed in July 2010 by the whites they bit him to dead with stones, this all happened in Brits and apparently people in area nkows about these coldblodded killers We have the witnesses, but because we poor justice will not be served. We reported to the police but this is not helping us we are in 2011 now nothing is being done, they gave us the case number and that was it. Metrorail disrespect us poor poeple, they don’t even care. Our president is working hard to reduce unemployment but metro rail is not instead more poeple are retrenched beacause of this stupid metrorail.

I went for my Vehicle Roadworthy, then told that I cannot get a licence disc as there are lot of cars registered under my name, I don’t know anything about these cars. This is a life threatning situation Mr President because I cannot even move freely in the country that is MY HOME. PLS HELP ME. I went to the police station to report the matter,I was given Affidavid that I kept it safely, when I go this week, I have been told that I cannot get a disc because there is a car that needs licence renewal, that I also don’t know about. I would like to raise one issue with you Mr Presedent:1.Is there no way that the young children found asking money from cars and poeple passing them could be taken back to their homes and those who are meant to be looking after these children be charged for negleting these children more especially if those children are still elegible for government grants,what kind of adults are we going to get out of these children if they are brought up in this’asking ‘environment where they are insulted and be called names:Personally I was born on a farm to the village to forced removal on tents next to the road to squater camps to semi-rural and I am black and proud but my parents always told me asking what you get from home is wrong let alone asking from strangers.Thank you Mr.Presedent hoping this will be attended to.

With the background and being brought up knowing and loving the ANC up to a point when I joined under the youth league where all these youth movements were named according to name of towns or area e.g.PAYCO,BAYCO etc to the point of applying to be a member of the ANC.I would like you to mention all the former presedents of the ANC not one or two but all because there is rich history behind all of them including you Mr PRESEDENT but Mr Blade Nzimande must stop critising former presedent Thabo Mbeki in public because there is so much history behind him as well.Hertzog,Botha,De Clerk,Vervoet and those who made us to be oppressed nation must be critisised .Mbeki might have made some mistakes and if so was the mistake of the collective more like Mr Mandela for talking to the oppressors without getting a permision from Mr O.R.Tambo those things need internal discussions,25yrs from now I want to name all these poeple with the contributions they made to free us,Presedent Zuma-Montlante-Mbeki-Mandela-Tambo-Luthuli-all of them have a great history behind them’I want you to mention all of them Mr Presedent before you make your speech to ANC gatherings.Thank you Mr Presedent:Do not want to say President:I like this one Presedent

You can phone the distrct offices in Krugersdorp, without any luck. All they do is to shift the blame. It is much easier to get hold of you, then the Distrct Director of D2. I dont know what they expect my family to eat, or how I will be able to pay my accounts. These people are seriously eating the taxpayers money, and you promised to get rid of them. It is time now. Remember you need our votes, and we need our salaries.

President, we highly appreciate the direction this country is taking Education.
However, the outcry you have caused by getting ride of the Old Matric is unbearably. Getting life sentence is much better than the punishment this country is imposing by forbidding us from having Matric.
Why are we punished by the same government we vote for. This is definately a mockery to our democracy.
Please bring back the Old Matric. For how long am I going. to sit with the problem of not having Matric?

I am final student in WSU NMD MTHATHA , my father was working in Rustenburg Platinum Mine and he got a medical board and he applied for UIF in Mthatha (MAY 2009) , unfortunately he passed away in two months after the application(07/2009), and my mother takes over.NB: (my father was in the possession of having two ID documents with different ID no’s, in home affairs in mthatha they gave me a hand written death certificate and told me that the computerised death certificate is blocked because, same peerson in in the possession of having two ID documents with different ID no’s). In Department of labour they told my mother that she will complete the UIF application when she forwaded a computerised death certificate (JULY 2009). in eight month after the death certificate was issued and she forwaded to the labour department and the application was completed (02/02/2010) . My mother was continuing checking for payment until know she did not get and this farmily is underprivilage i am struggling to finished my studies and my sisters and brothers.I kindly request for an assistance

My family was moved from the place called Mawelele near KwaSanti in 1982 to KwaNdengezi Township. My father died in 1987 trying to get his land back and till today nothing has happened. We now leave in a place called Sub 5 in Clermont near KwaDabeka (informal Settlement). My mother has been trying to get help in order to get the land back or compensation from Pietermaritzburg with no joy. Kindly assist my family in this matter.

South Africa is the beautiful country in everything i must say, but bottle necks are available in each state. In South Africa people who get opportunities to study outside are not financed, our government in particular NYDA does not take funding in education seriously. I paid for a short course which will take place in a month of May and paid every cent in Euros and then asked R20 000 from National Youth Development Agency but i was told there was no budget,which youth are they developing if they can’t invest in us future leaders. Please explain the roles and responsibilities of NYDA

I visisted one at Marizburg called Norhdale hosital at word G the last room that word did not have the air conditioner actualy it was too hoot and it was hot even to me who was not ill imagine to someone who was sick . I have asked to the nerses who told me they would fix it but evn yesterday it was still the same I went there at begining of Murch until now is still the same

I guess its time we do something about this ITC issue which is more than a hang pole. We cant get jobs because we “blacklisted” we get listed due to unemployment and how do we resolve this issue if we denied opportunities to make things right by working? this is very unfair, criminals and killers are getting away with everything but innocent people who wishes to make a clean living with their careers, job losses and debts mounting yet not given chance to rectify because of ITC listing. That’s very cruel and need to be looked at, our President need to do something about this especially when coming to employment. I will appreciate a response to this. People studies and have experience, get retrenched, suffer the loss then never get another chance again? that’s not fair AT ALL to us as South Africans or rather say black South African because seemingly the ITC rate is high on blacks.

I am very angry in the manner that we as small businss treated by the department of education.I am a supplier,i sell books & stationery in schools.started last year,when i first came to work in the Easten cape,i was told to go and register with the Department of Treasury.and i went to register,got a supplier number and start operating.and all was fine…This year im keeping good relations with my clients,the stationery catalogues came out begining of October,and my clients indicated on the catalogues that they will be using me as the supplier.all of a sudden now after the catalogues have been submitted thers another criteria to be used now..and the list of those suppliers who qualify on ths new criteria must be used and our names must be taken out..i find this very unfair and very discouraging for young people who r determined to do an honest living.what must we do now??? Bcoz its so obvious that only people who will get those orders r only the big guys…its realy infuriating.am so angry right now to think that i have done all the work and now when i mus get fruits of my hard work,somethng of ths nature comes up.realy unfair!!

I am a 37 years old South African citizen who is very keen to help needy people within our community. I wish to open a trust fund known as BAMBA UKUSHO KUKAJEHOVA TRUST FUND. I am touched by one of the families within Dassenhoek community in Mansenseni. This family need support and I am trying hard with what I have to help them. If they dont have food they just visit my house and ask for something we can offer. As it is Christmas time I gave them 10kgflour, 12.5 maize meal, 5lt cooking oil, 700g teabags, 10kg rice(aunt caroline) and 2kg sugar. Their boy was doing grade 7 at Nkosenye Senior Primary School and due to financial contsraints they want to change the child school to be Ntee High School because this school is cheap. Nkosenye principal didnt give Siyabonga the grade 7 report and he said he need money first which is R300. I will pay it but I am working as a public servant in the Department of Rural Development and Land Reform in KZN. I am a bread winner at home. I have one child who is going to Pinetown Boyz High School next year and the scholl fees there is R17 000.00. I like to help my community but I will need Governments help. I spoke to Dassenhoek ward counsilor about this vision I have received from God but he said he doesnt know a thing about this trust fund. I am a Born-Again-Christian in House of Prayer Community Centre. That is where I saw this needy people and even in my community at large. Kindly help me with relevant contacts for people who are willing to help me as my vision is help my community especially youth, to be educated and well equiped to face the future. I’m the parent of a child / daughter who passed inB symbol with 2A’s she applied early last year in UKZN she meet requirement but this university didn’t want to accet but all Indians are in none of them in long llnes this is a shchool for them , please I need help my child is crying uncontrollable she tried to kill herself but fortunately I saw her and tried to stop her. It’s so painful because he worked very hard .

Mr President, I have a problem my child she ed matric with two distinction and four B and C was promised bursary by Bojanala Municipality in Rustenburg but later declined she is currently studyind at wits doing LLB and am not finacially stable to assist as i have three other children attending school as well and am a sole bread winner am afraid if she is not going to get any study assistance she will have to drop and she is hard working and dedicated to her studies please interven

Mr President, I have a concern with no development in my area in Moletjie Ga-Rankhuwe(Limpopo Polokwane). We don’t have toilets,apolo lights, we have to pay for water from our neighbours. We keep on voting year after year but dis developments don’t come to us.Elections time they are able to locate us to help us vote but after elections is like we don’t exist.
Please assist. I lived in dis conditions for more that 30 year and enough is enough.

Mr President, I have a friend who was a member of MK and he is not working. He has been trying to get funding to buy a taxi so that he can generate some income to no avail. He has tried the MKMVA office at Luthuli house who keep on promising to come back to him. He has a daughter who is in matric this year and her future looks bleak due to lack of funds. Is this the reason why they went to exile and fought for this country to be poor and ignored. All he wants is fnds to buy ONE taxi not a fleet so can someone assist him. My number is o11 308 3262

Good Day,
I would like to lodge a complaint against a Mpumalanga, Middelburg Police Officer, His surname is Nkosi.
I had an incident in the morning of the 29th May 2012 , my car was pumped behind on the toll gate of Middelburg but because I had a course to attend I had to just take the other driver’s particulars and then rushed off to my class.
So later that afternoon I went to the Middelburg Police Station to report the incident, I had to wait for about 30 minutes because everybody was busy up & down with friends, laughing and ignoring the people.
When finally I did get someone to help me it was terrible, the officer didn’t want to hear what I was saying, he said we were suppose to call the police on the scene, and I agreed with him but had a reason for not calling the police, after begging him to help he took out a form and gave it to me to fill in but refused to offer me a pen or fill the form for me.
He was shouting and saying disrespectful words to me so I just left without getting any advice or help from him.
Please help because when I told him that I’m going to report him, he just said “go ahead, we always get that”.
Hopefully I will hear from you soon.

Iam having a son that was arrested last year in July the 15th and was ta trial since then.last month we tried to apply for bail of which they gave us the bail application date of the 16th of July 2012 of which they send the police that is handling the case to my place to make sure that the adress my son gave them was correct,then the gave us another date of the 24th July 2012 on that day my son’s co-accussed was grantedbail of R5000.00.My problem is that my son was having a Legal Aid Board attoney,She did not pitch for my son and when i ask the reason,even on the docket it was not written all i saw is the words(not guilty)So i want know how they can just put him in jailfor no reason.So please help me. I want to understant maybe i missunderstood.

My name is Baxolile Mbete and lam 24 years old, l live in Western cape with my mother and brother,my older sister.We live in a township call Mfuleni near Khayelitsha and Blue Downs.My mother is ther only one who is working at home,my bigger sister is not working either and she have three children.My Mother is always stress because the food that she buy for us is not enough, the grocery end befor the end of the month.So she is force to go to the maney lends to borrow some maney and the other issue is electricity.

I have graduated to matric in 2010 and but l didnt have sufficient funds or money to enrol to university.
My brother is currently in Grade 10 in Manazothombo high school.The thing that frigthen me is that he is going to gruadate at High School and sit at home like me.If you cant help me please help my brother.

I would like to complian against Msuduzi municipality in PMB , particularly a lady called Dale.Dale is not releasing infomation that i require.She said , she will not help me in my endevior in order to acess that infomation , infact she does not want to help me at all. I have an agreemnt with Msunduzi Municipality They are buying my fathers land . The agreement was reduced to writting by a lawyer and signed.Dale does not want to tell me the progress of the payment which has not come .
