Disappointing, Proteas!

Wow, what a let down from the SA cricket team yesterday.

It all started with lacklustre bowling and fielding.

I couldn’t believe how uninspired our Proteas looked in the field.

Wayne Parnell was the only one who looked even half interested.

So there we were, at the start of the SA innings needing 323 to win.

Graeme Smith again led from the front, but other than AB De Villiers, none of the top order looked like they were going to stick around.

In the end though it was our below par bowling that lost SA that match.

The match was soured even more by Andrew Strauss’ gamesmanship for not allowing Graeme Smith a runner.

He said afterwards that he did not believe Smith was really cramping, but was tired instead.

So he thinks the SA captain is a cheat?

Whatever…

That isn’t the reason the Proteas are out of the ICC World Championship.

Should make for an interesting England team visit to South Africa at the end of the year though.
