What the Heck – Trevor Manuel and His BMW 750i!
After the last election the Cape Times ran an article quoting Trevor Manuel.
He said he was disappointed in the way the country turned out and that other people who gave their lives to the struggle would doubtlessly feel the same.
I think he was alluding to crime and the fact that the poor were still as poor or even more poor than they were during apartheid years.
And the fact that politicians were milking us taxpayers dry for their personal gain.
How does Trevor Manuel repay his fellow struggle veterans?
By purchasing a BMW 750i at the taxpayer’s expense.
Not only does the car cost over 1million Rand, but accessories for it could house a few people at over R99 000!
What the hell?
Trevor Manuel should know a whole lot better.
What a huge shame!
