SA’s Got Talent Episode 6: The final Auditions
The show must apparently go on and on and on.
We were subjected to another round of auditions again.
A 14 year old singer with rosy cheeks entertained the crowd and the judges, but the background music almost drowned out the singer.
Or maybe its my raw nerves being chaffed by the noisy background music.
Two groups of dancers made up for the drudgery in part. Freeze frame and clown faced boys.
Then out of the blue a man came out with a recycled instrument and stood out.
We can only hope it doesn’t catch on at sporting events…like a certain plastic horn that shall remain nameless.
A boy genius, Louwtjie from Bellville, who Randall thinks could win the competition entertained with his guitar.
Then followed more of what we’d already seen.
Although a lady from Goodwood had Shado crying and Randall proclaiming her the best singer in the competition.
With that the audition stages were mercifully over!
Out of 152 contestants 21 were chosen by the judges to go forward to the live shows.
A few of the early favourites like little Cleo the girl who started the show off and Kalen the boy dancer who blew us all away, made it to the semi’s.
Darren the deaf hip hop dancer made it, as did the beatboxer guy.
Faith the singer who had Shado crying tonight made it as did the ventriloqist boy.
The first semi-final is on Monday 9 November at 7.30pm, followed by the 2nd and 3rd semis on Wednesday and Thursday at the same time.
