Joost talks and talks and talks
You had to be in a coma to miss the Joost ‘confession’ drama this week.

Joost and Amor were everywhere. My colleagues saw or heard Joost on Heart 104.9, Highveld FM (online), Morning Live, etc.
My one colleague described Joost as sincere, unlike others like Bill Clinton.
Cynical me – I don’t believe it for a second.
Joost appears to only speak the truth when he’s asked about the obvious sex tape.
He’s been caught in other lies since his ‘confession’. Like the Charmaine Weavers affair which he tried to cover up until very recently and still refuses to full on admit that it took place.
Not that he owed us the public an explanation. But when he chooses which truths to tell, tries to sell us his book and pretends to be sincere, we have to wonder.
Both Joost and Charmaine Weavers were interviewed in this week’s You. Check out the interview on the mobile site m.you.co.za or buy the magazine.
It doesn’t show either of our former sports stars in a good light.
And Amor just seems gullible or more likely living in denial.
Joost told You Magazine that he and Amor were only giving interviews about the sordid details of his extra-marital activities for 1 week. And then no more.
We can only hope.
But I fear that next will come the divorce, followed by Amor’s tell-almost-all-inspirational book.
Before that a host of other women will likely come out of the woodwork.
Hey, I did say I was cynical.

i watched him on 3talk. I got the sense he was lying through his teeth and was not impressed.

And apparently he’s not done talking. Joost is due on Gareth Cliff’s talkshow on Mnet Wednesday night.
If they were really sincere they would stop talking and think of their children.
