Jonty Rhodes As Well – What on earth…?
This one is a shocker to me. Former cricketer Jonty Rhodes, of all people, leaving his wife of 15 years, according to IOL.co.za.
He is moving down to Cape Town to live with his new girlfriend as well as for business reasons.
These things happen, of course.
It’s just unbelievable that Jonty Rhodes is one of the parties involved.
At least, for his family’s sake, no ugly rumours and innuendo made the tabloids. Although we might hear from them sooner rather than later.

Hi Jonty. So sorry to hear of the problems you are currently experiencing. You’ve been such an inspiration to the Kingdom of God – and so many South Africans. Could I ask you to prayerfully re-consider your decision – take this matter to the Lord you love so much, and to seek His will for your life, your wife and you two little girls.
Please don’t allow the Evil One to tarnish the beautiful witness to our Lord you have always radiated in our South African community. I have always been the greatest fan of you Jonty… you are my idol…your sudden retirement hurt me so much that i can’t enjoy cricket anymore. Your values about family has always inspired me. and now when I heard that you are separating from your beloved wife its a terrible shock to me. I can’t imagine what happened between you two that led you to this harsh decision…. I hope you solve your problems with each other and lead the happy family life you have been living for the past 15 years and thus set an example to others as you have always been…..
